Hi, tinc is alive, but things are going very slowly at the moment. Also
not helping is some bots spamming the mailing list for bogus
subscription requests, which has caused me to enable manual approval,
but there's enough that I've missed some real subscription requests and
some messages that were held for moderation. Sorry about that.

Some patches have been accumulating in the git repository, I will
release a 1.1pre18 this weekend.

There are a number of things that need to be done before a 1.1.0
release. If you want to help make this happen, there's a list of things
you can do, even things that don't require any programming:

- Test tinc 1.1 on all your platforms. Compile it from scratch, and
report any warnings or error messages you encounter.

- Go through the list of issues on GitHub, and check if you are affected
by any of them. If so, add a comment. If you're the original
submitter, just mentioning whether it's still affecting you also
helps. If there's no patch and you want to have a go at fixing it, go
ahead and create a pull request if you have made a patch. See:
  https://github.com/gsliepen/tinc/issues

- Similar, there is a list of open pull requests. Leave a comment if you
want it to get attention. You can also try out if the commits still
apply and compile correctly, and check if the patches work. See:
  https://github.com/gsliepen/tinc/pulls

Some other issues that need to be done for 1.1.0:

- Ensure it works with recent versions of Linux, macOS and Windows.
Especially check that it works with the utun driver on macOS, since
non-Apple drivers are going to be very hard to use with the latest
restrictions. On Windows, check if tinc works with the latest
  TAP-Windows driver (https://github.com/OpenVPN/tap-windows6).
