how to try first the os and install after

It is a live CD, so something isn't right for you; you shouldn't be left with the grub prompt.

If I find time over the weekend (I'm pretty busy), I'll try it out for myself. I normally use a USB pendrive to boot but I wanted to try an SD card anyway.
