That should probably work. It depends on the kind of routes that are in
the routing table. If the entry for the VPN has a lower priority than
the route to the LAN when she is at the office, then traffic to the PDC
should go directly via the LAN, even if tinc is still running. If the
route to the VPN interface has a higher priority, then maybe stopping
tinc will work, but I am not sure. Try it out.
