tinc will connect to a vde_switch instance ?

So instead of a tun device with a ipaddress, you can plug tinc in a vde 
(virtual switch).
This is so cool ;-)

I can't wait to start testing tinc version 1.1.
Is it compatible with version 1.0 ?
