[OT] mssql clients connect intermittently

Most likely this is offtopic, hence the OT in the subject.   But i am
completely drained by this.

WinXP tinc Tablets connect wirelessly through a Linux tinc node to
network drive letters on a win2003 server just fine.

That same Win2003 server provides mssql.  The Tablets can connect and
other times they cannot.  All the while, the drive letter is mapped.

All tinc nodes are in router mode.  The winxp tablets have been
verified to receive Group Policy via the tinc network.

Licensing issue bc the mac addresses may appear the same? There is a
mssql Temporary UUID oxymoronic code that is different.

Has anyone seen problems like this before?

Again, sorry if this is too offtopic. Ethereal crashed too many times
to get an answer.
