Can I pass 802.1q (VLAN tagged) through a VPN Tincin HUB/Switchmode?

So you basically have

PC <-- untagged VID5 --> Switch <-- tagged VID5 --> Server (eth0)

with packets of PC not being tagged before being delivered to the server.

I've verified that tcpdump with the above options shows the 802.1q
header for me in a similar setup. So this looks like switch misbehaviour
/ misconfiguration. I've also been told by linux admins that vlan
offloading to the nic could cause things like this if drivers are broken.
