Sadly my speakers are fried.

We popped the back off the TCM this evening. It's very easy, just use
an old credit card or similar thing made of soft plastic to pop open
the clips, there's no glue or screws!

The speakers are in black thermoplastic holders, each held in with two
screws. One has an embossed part number, the other a QR code, which
match. Thin wires join a common plug connecting to the motherboard, so
it's possible to unplug them and easily swap them out, but it does
mean disconnecting video cables and other things because the speaker
cables run underneath them.

The moment we unscrewed the speaker holders and lifted them out, we
could see the thermoplastic was a bit mis-shapen and a different
texture, suggesting they'd been cooked :-(

Boran found some speakers on ebay

Which is good news as it gives me a cap on the price I'll have to pay.

the guy selling the speakers appears to have broken his tablet and is
selling all the parts
