I build a plain vanilla 4.7-rc4 kernel - absolutely no patches at all
- to prove it builds. With the patches-4.5 from hadess, it won't
built.

John Brodie posted he has provided -rc4 kernel patches, and says his
-rc4 kernel is much better than before:

so I built an rc4-jbpm1-i686 kernel. It boots, I uploaded it.

in my set up, it runs fine until I load the wifi driver, and that
usually causes it to die within 7 minutes. the strange ping latency
issue has improved slightly.
