Any hints from linux on the Yoga 2 Tablet?

Here's a page about how someone configured linux on their Yoga Tablet.
Not sure if there's any useful info on there.

I was most excited about backlight control, but trying the first line in
their script for turning off the backlight didn't work at least.
Probably very device specific, no idea how they figured this out. But if
anyone understands this better than me, maybe this could help for our
setup too?
