## Mailing lists If you wish to be kept up to date of the progress of tinc, or want to ask questions or discuss things, you can subscribe to one of the mailing lists: | Mailing list | Web interface and archive | Description | | ------------ | ------------------------- | ----------- | | [tinc](mailto:tinc@tinc-vpn.org) | [web interface](/lists/tinc) | This is the mailing list for all users of tinc. You can ask any questions you have here. This list will also be used to announce new versions or any security problems we might find. | | [tinc-devel](mailto:tinc-devel@tinc-vpn.org) | [web interface](/lists/tinc-devel) | This mailing list is mainly used for the developers. If you wish to discuss something technical about tinc, you can do it on this list. | | tinc-svn | [web interface](/lists/tinc-svn) | This is a read-only mailing list. All the Subversion commit messages will be posted here. You can use it to track development. | *NOTE:* To prevent spam on our mailing lists, you are required to subscribe before you can post to the mailing lists. This will also ensure that you receive any responses to your emails that are sent to the mailing list. ### Subscribing to a mailing list Use the web interface links to subscribe to the mailing list of your choice. You can also use the web interface to unsubscribe or to change your settings. *NOTE:* To prevent spam bots from automatically subscribing to our mailing lists, subscriptions have to be approved by the list administrators. You will get a confirmation that you have been succesfully subscribed, but it might take a while before this appears.
