# Installing TINC on Windows Seven

## Step0: Check if your Win7 is 32bits or 64bits

To find out if your computer is running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows, do the following:

Open System by clicking the **Start** button , clicking **Control Panel**, clicking **System and Maintenance**, and then clicking **System**.

Under System, you can view the system type.

## Step1: Download TINC for Win7

## Step2: Get a CMD prompt in administrator mode

## Step3: Install a directory with your config

## Step4: Create a TAP device

## Step5: Rename the interface

## Step6: Put an IP address

## Step7: Ping test
