Can I pass 802.1q (VLAN tagged) through a VPN Tinc inHUB/Switchmode?.

you're right, but question was about bridging and tagging.

wlan0:
> brctl show
  br0: eth2 tinc
> vconfig:
  vlan82: br0
> ip addr
  vlan82 1.2.3.4/24

With eth2 being a interface that has some a couple of tagged vlans
attached to it on switchport side.

ap1:
> brctl show
  br0: wlan0 vlan82
  br84: wlan0_1.84 vlan84
> vconfig:
  vlan82: tinc
  vlan84: tinc
> ip addr
  br0 1.2.3.5/24

With wlan0 and wlan0_1.84 begin interfaces which receive data from the
wireless card driver.

As both communication in vlan 84 via ap1 and wlan0 works as well as
communication in vlan 82 via ap1 to wlan0 as well as communication
in vlan82 between the aps work, I guess that quite complete.
