tinc configuration gui

Hello Tinc Developers,

I am interested in creating a graphical user interface for tinc. I
believe if there was an interface for configuring tinc, it would be more
user friendly. I wish to implement an interface that will configure tinc
by creating all the nessesary configuration files and explain all the
available options. I would also like it to act as a monitor and
providing information about the status of the connections and errors.

Guus has explained to me that gtkmm with C++ or another object
orientated language would be most appropriate for this application.

I am only new to object orientated programming, and have only had
experience with pascal. I would like to learn by contributing to my
favourite open source project.

Has anyone else been working on a GUI for tinc?

Could anyone offer any words of advice, suggestions or information
before I start?
